I visited Yuzawa Kogen Snow Resort, Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski and Snowboard resort which are located in Niigata prefecture to see biological impacts of Fukushima No.1 nuclear power plant accident. Though I have visited various places in Japan to see the health consequences of the accident, I have never found any effect against creatures in Japan.
In spite of the accident, foods and water of Niigata prefecture have no radioactive materials. Niigata prefecture is clean land because surrounding high mountains prevent it from radioactive materials of Fukushima.
Niigata prefecture is famous for snow resort too. Many people visit there to play ski or snowboard every winter. There are many snow resorts in Niigata prefecture. This time, I visit Yuzawa Kogen Snow Resort, Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski and Snowboard resort because they are easily accessible from Tokyo by Shinkansen.
I visit Yuzawa Kogen Snow Resort every year because it is one of the nearest ski resorts from Tokyo. It has 2,200m long 'panorama' trail for beginners. Snow quality is good and we can enjoy powder-snow skiing. Furthermore it links Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski and Snowboard Resort.
Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort has its own bullet train station right at the base of the resort. Step off the train, pick up your pass and gear and you're ready to go! It couldn't be easier. You can wake up in Tokyo and be on the slopes by 8 am!
Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski and Snowboard resort is on e of the larger resorts in Japan. The resort offers a wider range of ski slopes and facilities for all ranges and abilities of skier and snowboarder.
So I went to these snow resorts for people watching. Fortunately, I could enjoy snowboard safely and I cannot find any impact of the accident. It seems that people in Niigata prefecture have no worry about the accidents because they have no biological impacts by the accident.
I think that there is no problem for childbirth and child-rearing in Niigata, Japan.

Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski and Snowboard resort is on e of the larger resorts in Japan. The resort offers a wider range of ski slopes and facilities for all ranges and abilities of skier and snowboarder. Although the altitude of the ski base is relatively low, the resort receives heavy snowfall each winter thanks to the geographical characteristics of the region and that fact along with the facilities enable the resort to annually host various large-scale national ski and snowboard events.
The top of the resort is connected to the neighboring GALA Yuzawa resort and Yuzawa Kogen Snow Resort.

Almost 4 years have passed since Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident. I have visited various places of Japan to see the health consequence of the accident.
Fortunately I have never found any impacts by the accident among Japanese creatures. As far as I know, nobody has health problem which is caused by the accident in Japan.
Our Prime Minister Abe assures that "The situation is under control and there will never be health problems." He also said that "Tokyo is 250 kilometers away from Fukushima, and the kind of danger that you imagine does not exist in Tokyo. Tokyo is a very safe city."
Though Niigata prefecture is next to Fukushima prefecture, surrounding high mountains and the direction of the wind prevent it from radioactive materials. So Niigata prefecture is safe as same as Tokyo and people in Niigata have no concern about the nuclear power plant accident. People in Niigata prefecture have already forgotten the accident, because it is very far away from Fukushima and radioactive materials cannot reach there.
We know there is no problem for child birth and child rearing in Niigata. So people in Niigata are living without any concern about the accident.
I continue to visit various places in Japan to see the effects of the accident, because I can meet various creatures which are more sensitive to radioactive materials from the environment. It is important to see their health for our safety.
